Rules for becoming a piercer

Perhaps everyone of us wants to have a good appearance, somebody else wants to have an unusual look, and that is why it isn't so important what methods we choose for this purpose. One of the ways or methods to achieve good looks is to buy new stylish clothes, and most of us choose this way. Another choice is to get body tattoos and body piercing. Piercing is so popular today, that many people attend piercer training and an apprenticeship for becoming a piercer.
Nowadays any practicing piercing-master can become a full member of the Professional Piercing Association in his state, and receive the certificate which confirms his qualification. For this purpose it is necessary to pass only testing under the PPA program and to pass theoretical and practical examinations.
After finishing the test and passing an examination, and by confirming your work as a piercing-master, and their analysis, you become a piercer and a PPA full member. Professionals think that such an approach will solve a problem of the occurrences of unqualified masters, and will help and secure clients coming to a studio, and give them the master choice. As a rule, members of PPA of different states have similar privileges: to work as the piercing-master at beauty shops and studios of their native state and abroad; free-of-charge participation in all actions, which hold PPA; train everyone who is becoming a piercer with the subsequent certification of the pupils through PPA; to carry out consultations and seminars for beauty shops, studios and clients; to solve questions and issues, concerning piercer poor-quality work; ordering ornaments and tools for piercing for reduced prices without taxes; to attend additional studies, seminars, and whatever.
Be sure, that if you have a desire to become a piercer, you should not be only interested in that. You should be ready beforehand, to also attend to the various nuances of becoming a piercer, as you should possess a certain mentality, have a steady, but friendly character, and many other things. Unfortunately, it is possible to decline your application for training if the piercing-instructor considers that your knowledge and skill level wll not help to develop your piercer skills.
Training courses are carried out under the American Piercer Association regime, 20 hours of the theory, and 30 hours of practice (10 hours of practice for masters with restrictions). All pupils who have finished the theoretical test are allowed to start their practical studies. All pupils who failed the examination have the opportunity to try again after a week. In case of a second failure of the exam, pupils can be allowed repeatedly to take the test only once in three months. After finishing the practical studies, the pupils receive the Certificate of the Piercing-master, the Piercing-instructor or the Piercing-master with the restrictions, confirming their qualification as a professional.
During the piercer training courses everyone who is becoming a piercer
learns some basic subjects: basics of hygiene and sterilization; the professional use of tools; basics of safe work; positioning of perforation,
names and places of punctures; ornaments and metals; anesthesia and
allergic reactions; healing and care of piercing; appretince ship; help
in difficult cases, and many other aspects of safe piercing.
In the event of the successful finishing of courses, students receive the
certificate confirming their vocational training for piercer work. Besides the basic courses, various associations also carry out free-of-charge additional studies and seminars for Masters.
So, becoming a piercer is not that easy, but, like other jobs, it also requires some patience and responsibility during the training courses, and apprenticeship.
